Managing Partners

The Mississippi Partnerships for Employment for Youth and Young Adults with Developmental Disabilities including Intellectual Disabilities (MSPE) is a joint project between the Mississippi’s Developmental Disabilities Network.   This network includes the Mississippi Council on Developmental Disabilities (MS CDD); The University of Southern Mississippi Institute for Disability Studies(IDS), Mississippi’s University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities Education, Research and Service (UCEDD); and Disability Rights Mississippi (DRMS).

MS CDD is the lead entity for the project, facilitates the meetings of the Consortium, oversees all aspects of the project and coordinates all pilot grant initiatives.  Managing partner IDS coordinates training, evaluation and the facilitation of the Stakeholders Group.  Managing partner DRMS leads Employment Work Group activities and annually conducts an in-depth policy and programmatic analyses of services, supports, funding streams, legal issues, policy barriers, eligibility criteria and program requirements.
